Communication capability:

GE 151X1235BC01SA01 supports the Ethernet-APL (Advanced Physical Layer) technology, which is based on the full-duplex, DC-balanced, point-to-point communication scheme. It uses PAM 3 modulation, has a 7.5MBd symbol rate and 4B3T encoding, supports two amplitude modes, and can be transmitted up to 1000 meters cable distance. This technology can solve the problems of power supply, bandwidth, wiring, distance and use in dangerous places of traditional Ethernet in the field.

Power requirements:

PLC (Programmable logic controller) power supply is generally AC85-240V (also DC24V), to adapt to a wide range of power supplies. However, in order to resist interference, it is usually recommended to install power purification components, such as power filters, 1:1 isolation transformers, etc.

DC24V power supply use:

PLC products are generally equipped with DC24V power supply, but the power supply capacity is small, usually used with tens of Ma to hundreds of Ma loads. Pay attention to the capacity limit when using, and take measures to prevent short circuit.

External power requirements:

If there are DC24V proximity switches and photoelectric switches in the input loop, and the DC24V power supply capacity on the PLC is insufficient, DC24V power supply needs to be provided from the outside. However, it should be noted that the “-” end of the external power supply should not be connected to the “-” end and “COM” end of the PLC’s DC24V, so as not to affect the operation of the PLC.
